No doubt, polyester and rayon dresses may be easy to care for but when it comes to looks and comfort, no artificial fabric comes close to real fibers. Nothing beats silk. The quality is visible. A woman in a silk dress looks more polished than one in a polyester dress, all other things being equal. Silk falls flatteringly against the skin. The difference may be subtle, yet it is there. You just look better in silk, even though you might not be able to pin point exactly why. Silk is worth the added expense in the cost of the outfit and the cleaning bills as the boost it gives to your image is indispensable.
Looks aside, silk feels fabulous as it caresses your skin. Those with sensitive skin can probably tell the difference. Think of the term silky soft. As soft as silk. That's how fabulous real silk feels when you wear it.
Right now, I'm really broke. Broke and fat that is. I keep consoling myself once I lose weight and save enough, I'd replace my polyster and rayon dresses with silk dresses like these.
